Amanzoe, derived from the Sanskrit word for peace, aman, and the Greek word for life, zoe, is situated on a hilltop in Greece. The architecture of the hotel creates the impression that you are in the ancient Greek palace, that just about the thinnest marble doors will open, and you will get one of the most beautiful goddesses in a light tunic, fluttering on the warm, smelling lavender and cypresses breeze.
The hotel
Amanzoe is about 2.5 hours drive by car or 25 minutes by helicopter from Athens International Airport. It is surrounded by undulating olive groves and overlooking the turquoise Aegean Sea, is a ten-minute drive from the tavernas and cosmopolitan stirrings of Porto Heli, Greece. The isles of Spetses and Hydra are nearby, as are countless ancient ruins, from millennia-old amphitheatres to Byzantine monasteries.
The private beach and beach club are set below Amanzoe on a sheltered bay. Complimentary transfers take guests down to the Aegean, where non-motorised watersports can be enjoyed. The serene beach club is home to four swimming pools and overnight Cabanas, as well as a casual eatery and two-room spa.
As well, there are choices of dining outlets such as Pool Restaurant (International cuisine, light meals), Main Bar (Bar), Main Restaurant (International and Greek cuisine, bar, breakfast, light meals) and Nama at Pool Restaurant (Japanese cuisine).
It also features tennis on site, outdoor pool, fitness center and as with all Amans, the spa is a superlative experience: a 2,850 square meter space of relaxation with treatments inspired by the teachings of Hippocrates.

Amanzoe Pavilions
Drawing on classic Greek architecture, with strong lines and a pared-back aesthetic, Amanzoe’s standalone luxury Pavilions all open onto terraces with private plunge pools and views of the surrounding land and sea. Each Pavilion is accessed via a stone-walled courtyard, leading to a high-ceilinged living area and king-size bed positioned in a marble alcove with views over the Porto Heli vista.
Amanzoe Beach Cabanas
Situated directly on the beach, the spacious air-conditioned Beach Cabana provide all the comforts of a Pavilion, combined with an expansive terrace and swimming pool. Guests can enjoy a day on the beach, swimming in the sea, discovering bays by canoe and sunbathing in privacy. Meals can be enjoyed at Amanzoe’s Beach Club restaurant or in the privacy of a Beach Cabana. Gym and spa treatment rooms are also available.
Amanzoe Villas
Amanzoe’s luxury Villas are cool, spacious abodes surrounded by olive groves. Overlooking the Aegean Sea, each of the one-to-nine-bedroom Greek Villas features an open terrace with sand-coloured marble floors, traditional dry stone-clad walls and concrete columns and cornices. A chef and a host serve each one.

NINE-BEDROOM VILLA, VILLA 20

Guests of Villa 20 also enjoy access to a dedicated Beach Cabana at the Amanzoe Beach Club, ensuring maximum privacy and comfort. The one-bedroom Cabana has a private terrace and plunge pool, with direct access to the sea 30-metres away.
Villa 20 accommodates 18 guests in six 100 m2 suites and three luxury studio bedrooms, all opening onto private terraces and some featuring plunge pools.
A private Spa & Gym in the Villa covers 650 m2 and offers a wide range of facilities, including treatment rooms, sauna, steam room, water massage bed, whirlpool, 15-metres indoor pool and cold plunge pool. The state-of-the-art gym features Technogym equipment and is complemented by spacious outdoor yoga and training terraces enjoying beautiful views.
